Livestream Worship Guidelines
March 19, 2020 | Announcements
We are the church wherever we may be. Whether we gather in person or meet online, Christ as our Head (Colossians 1:18) joins us as we meet (Matthew 18:20).
To help us have a worthwhile worship experience, here are practical steps on how to conduct ourselves during our livestream worship gathering:
1. Dedicate to God the entire online worship time. Whether you worship with the whole family or alone, dedicate a place where you may freely join in the online gathering with undivided attention.
2. Drop everything for the entire worship time. Do all your other chores and activities after the online worship.
3. Devote yourself entirely to the Word, worship, and prayer. Be genuinely present in the online gathering.
4. Do what the pastor or worship team leads the community to do. Sing along, clap your hands, join the prayer, and do the giving.
“Some people have given up the habit of meeting for worship, but we must not do that. We should keep on encouraging each other, especially since you know that the day of the Lord’s coming is getting closer.” – Hebrews 10:25, CEV
Remember, everything we do or say should be done in the name of the Lord Jesus, as we give thanks through him to God the Father (Colossians 3:17).
