“And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.” — Ephesians 6:18, NIV

From May 30 to June 2, nearly 100 delegates and volunteers from JRAM churches across British Columbia, Alberta, and Saskatchewan gathered for the Prayer Partner Ministries (PPM) Summit 2025. With the theme “Prayer Matters,” this four-day summit rekindled JRAM’s devotion to prayer as a frontline ministry.

Real Stories, Lasting Impact

From youth to senior adults, attendees shared testimonies of healing, breakthrough, and revival. Imelda Malinay, a delegate from JRAM Calgary Southeast, reflected:

“The summit was a great experience that helped me grow spiritually. It showed me the power of praying, and it encouraged me to stay strong in my faith.”

Meanwhile, JRAM Edmonton West and Red Deer Associate Pastor Joal Abada shared:

“One of the most powerful things I learned was the urgency and necessity of prayer. If we truly desire growth, spiritually, relationally, and even numerically, in our church, then we must take prayer seriously. Pastor Aldrin emphasized that if we want to see transformation, revival, and God’s power at work, we must be willing to go to the next level of prayer. This next level means shifting prayer from being just a private act of devotion to becoming a ministry, a calling we step into with commitment, intentionality, and faith…

“This Summit stirred something in me. I left with a renewed passion and a clear challenge to not just be someone who prays, but to be someone who ministers through prayer. God is calling us to partner with Him in the unseen battles, and He has promised that we will see the results of our prayers, in His time and in His way.”

A Ministry, Not Just a Practice

JRAM holds a clear conviction: Prayer is not an accessory to ministry—it is the ministry. The PPM exists to champion this truth in every pastoral care group.

Summit delegates were trained to:

  • Develop prayer structures in their churches
  • Equip intercessors to minister in teams
  • Launch prayer request systems and follow-up care
  • Sustain seasonal and Spirit-led prayer rhythms

This is more than a movement—it is JRAM’s mission to exalt Jesus by ministering on our knees.

A Call to Consistent, Gospel-Centered Prayer

As delegates return to their churches and communities, the call echoes endlessly: Pray without ceasing. Encourage one another. Minister through intercession.

Indeed, God is not done yet.

Stay tuned for the next PPM Summit.
