OUR STORY
In the sovereign hands of our Savior Jesus Christ, the Jesus Rock of Ages Ministries (JRAM) found its beginning. Born from prayers and faith in God’s grace and goodness, JRAM was officially established in British Columbia, Canada, in July 2012, as surely as the good LORD willed it.
That radiant summer day saw 750 souls gathering in Richmond’s King George Park for JRAM’s inaugural worship service, echoing the promise of Matthew 18:20, “For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.” Led by Pastor Aldrin Navo, the congregation worshiped in unity, celebrating the start of a God-graced journey.
Since then, JRAM has flourished, with 21 satellite churches across Canada and pastoral care groups in the Philippines, Macau, and Hong Kong. This growth, made possible only by the enabling grace of Jesus and the faithful guidance of the Holy Spirit, fulfills His words in Matthew 16:18, “… on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.”
As JRAM continues to proclaim Christ to the cities and nations through the gospel, it stands firm on the Rock of Salvation, Jesus Christ, the Rock of Ages.
Everything is from Him, through Him, and to Him. To Him be the glory forever!
OUR STATEMENT OF FAITH
We believe the Holy Scriptures, as originally given by God, are divinely inspired, infallible, and entirely trustworthy, and constitute the only supreme authority in all matters of faith and conduct.
We believe there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
We believe our Lord Jesus Christ is God manifest in the flesh; we affirm His virgin birth, sinless humanity, divine miracles, vicarious and atoning death, bodily resurrection, ascension, ongoing mediatorial work, and personal return in power and glory.
We believe the salvation of the lost and sinful humanity is possible only through the merits of the shed blood of the Lord Jesus Christ, received by faith apart from good works, and is characterized by regeneration by the Holy Spirit.
We believe the Holy Spirit enables believers to live a holy life, to witness, and to work for the Lord Jesus Christ.
We believe the Church, the body of Christ, consists of all true believers.
We believe God will judge both the living and the dead, those who are saved unto the resurrection of life; and those who are lost, unto resurrection of damnation.
We believe in two ordinances: The believer’s baptism by immersion is a declaration to the world of the believer’s faith in Christ, and the Lord’s Supper is a symbolic remembrance of Christ’s suffering and death.
